How to Add a Subuser to Your Minecraft Server

If you want to give someone access to help manage your Minecraft server (for example, a developer, moderator, or friend), you can invite them as a Subuser through your Minecraft Panel.

This guide will show you exactly how to do it.


Step 1: Open Your Minecraft Panel #

  1. Log in to your AcademyHosting Panel Area
  2. Open your Minecraft Server
  3. Click on Users in the left sidebar menu

You will now see the Subusers Management page.


Step 2: Click “Create New Subuser” #

  1. Click the Create New Subuser button
  2. You will see a permission settings page

Step 3: Enter the User’s Email (Required) #

At the top of the page, you must enter:

  • User Email → Enter the email address of the person you want to invite

Important:
The email address must be valid. The user will receive an invitation to access the server.


Step 4: Select Permissions #

You can choose exactly what the user is allowed to do.


Step 5: Create the Subuser #

After selecting the permissions:

  1. Click Create User
  2. The invited user will receive access to the server

Important Notes #

  • Subusers cannot upgrade or cancel your server.
  • They can only access what permissions you give them.
  • You can edit or remove a subuser at any time from the Users page.
