If you want to give someone access to help manage your Minecraft server (for example, a developer, moderator, or friend), you can invite them as a Subuser through your Minecraft Panel.
This guide will show you exactly how to do it.
Step 1: Open Your Minecraft Panel #
- Log in to your AcademyHosting Panel Area
- Open your Minecraft Server
- Click on Users in the left sidebar menu
You will now see the Subusers Management page.
Step 2: Click “Create New Subuser” #
- Click the Create New Subuser button
- You will see a permission settings page
Step 3: Enter the User’s Email (Required) #
At the top of the page, you must enter:
- User Email → Enter the email address of the person you want to invite
Important:
The email address must be valid. The user will receive an invitation to access the server.
Step 4: Select Permissions #
You can choose exactly what the user is allowed to do.
Step 5: Create the Subuser #
After selecting the permissions:
- Click Create User
- The invited user will receive access to the server
Important Notes #
- Subusers cannot upgrade or cancel your server.
- They can only access what permissions you give them.
- You can edit or remove a subuser at any time from the Users page.
